Table from the Taffel collection by the Danish brand Eva Solo
A solid, raw and industrial Eva Solo Taffel table, which nevertheless seems to almost float thanks to its design with light and simple lines. The Taffel, with its width of 90 cm, is slightly narrower than most dining tables. However, thanks to its light appearance, it is ideal for smaller apartments, where it saves space, perfectly fulfilling the role of a dining table or desk. The Taffel table has integrated extension leaves, which can be easily pulled out when more space is needed. This allows the table length to be increased from 200 to 320 cm.
The Eva Solo Taffel table is made of solid and durable materials. The plywood top is covered with linoleum, an organic, natural material that is both beautiful and practical.
Thomas Pedersen, the designer of the Taffel table, says of the table: "We designed Taffel as a versatile dining table, ideal for small apartments where the dining table is the focal point of the living space. This table is designed for everyday use, so the materials have been selected for durability so that the surfaces can withstand everyday use. The exposed plywood edge gives it a utilitarian, industrial look that goes perfectly with the Dosina chair," explains Pedersen.
