Tajine is a traditional Moroccan cuisine dish. Recipes from this region usually contain large amounts of vegetables and meat. Tajine dishes require slow stewing.
The Tajine Staub vessel has a special lid adapted to this type of heat treatment. The profiled lid allows for optimal steam circulation, and therefore, perfect moisturization of the food and removal of unnecessary air.
The lower part of the vessel is made of enameled cast iron and covered with a non-stick coating inside, preventing food from sticking. The lid of the Tajine pot is ceramic.
